Lewistown, Montana

A warm sunny day welcomed Michelle and I to Lewistown Montana.

It was here where we planted our youthful roots 35 years ago, nestled in the comfortable surroundings of several mountain ranges. Twenty miles east of Lewistown is the start of the Judith mountains. Those were the mountains that we gazed at often through the course of our  stay.  We stayed for a few days to give the people Michelle knows in the area a chance to come and see her. One of her good friends drove quite a distance to have the opportunity to spend some time with her.

Look at the life in those smiles!

Michelle enjoyed time with family and friends in between visits.

Shortly after we got into town, we came across a Momma deer and two little ones in a yard.

After all the time on the road, the idea of getting out of the truck was a great idea. We arrived at my father's place early afternoon, where we were greeted with warmth and kindness from everyone, and we had a chance to see Poppa's nature reclamation project underway!

Before we set out on this journey together, I put together a little gift bag for Michelle for each one of the days we would be traveling. They're just little somethings to have some fun with along our way.

This gift bag had magic growing crystals in it.
it was comforting for Michelle to find so many animals roaming around out at my father's place. Part of her heart is Wolf, and I think the dogs know it.

Back on the road again, next stop Polson, Montana!

Thank you for being a part of the journey!

Last day in Central Oregon

Time is a strange thing. It moves fast when we want to slow down, it moves too slow when we want to hurry through something, and it set...
